Why is the Infiniverse exciting for you as a reader?

When I was a kid, I loved stories. I still do, with some of my favourites being Harry Potter (Of Course), The Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, and Divergent. One of the things all these series have in common is that they construct entire worlds for the reader.

About the Author

Liz Cain is an urban fantasy writer and NHS frontline staff. She was born in East Yorkshire in the UK and grew up near the sea with her parents and two sisters.

She moved to the midlands, which was much too far south for her, graduating from Leicester University with a degree in Physics and going on to complete an MSc in Medical and Radiation Physics.

he has worked in the NHS since 2008 as a Nuclear Medicine Clinical Scientist, helping with cancer treatment and diagnosis.

She has traveled at every opportunity from Thailand and Australia to touring national parks in North America.

Liz has done lots of crazy things for charity, including skydiving, running, swimming, and even cutting off her hair. While out on adventures she finds herself weaving intricate tales in her head which one day she had to write down.

About The Author

I’ve been a reader of fantasy and science fiction since I was ten. Lord of the Rings is still my favorite.

I now read Butcher (Dresden) and Salvatore (Drizzt), as well at Sanderson and others. The Mid Dreki Realm got its start with a comment with my then fifteen year old son.

That kernel grew into a book, which split into two, and is now a five book series. I retired at 57 and began the process of becoming a writer.

I’ve attended a half dozen conferences, read numerous books on the art of writing, joined critique groups, and immersed myself in the craft. I’m a member of Apex, a group founded by David Farland (Runelord).

I live in the foothills between Colorado Springs and Denver with my wife. Deer, turkeys, bear, coyotes, and my three children and 2 grandchildren occasionally drop by.

R. Janet Walraven is an award-winning writer of short stories, creative non-fiction, poetry, and novels. Her Masters in Education and her passion for excellence in education prompted her to write Connect for Classroom Success: A Mentoring Guide for Teachers K-12.

Now retired after 35 years of teaching, she enjoys gardening, traveling in Europe, visiting the beaches of Cabo and the Caribbean, and writing. She has lived all over the United States and chose New Mexico, The Land of Enchantment with its eternal sunshine, as her place to call home.

Her latest book, Rainbow of Promise: A World War II Romance, is based on the true story of her parents during the war years.
